To configure a Windows Millennium Edition (ME) Internet dialer, click 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Dial Up Networking'.
From the Dial Up Networking window, double click 'Make New Connection'
In the box labeled 'Type a name for the computer you are dialing', enter TCQ Internet.
Select your modem.
Click 'Next'.
Leave the Area Code field blank. In the Telephone number field, enter the Dial-Up access number found in the Call Finder for your area, including area code.
Click 'Next'.
Click Finish'.
There will now be an icon called 'TCQ Internet' in the Dial Up Networking window. Click 'TCQ Internet' once with the right mouse button, click 'Properties' with the left mouse button.
Click 'Networking'.
Verify that only 'Enable software compression' and 'TCP/IP' are checked.
Select 'Security'.
In the field labeled 'User Name', enter: username@tcq.net
(Replace 'username' with your assigned username)
Enter your assigned password.
Select 'Dialing'.
Select "This is my default Internet connection' and "Always dial my default connection.
Click 'OK'
At the Dial Up Networking window, double click TCQ Internet. Click the 'Connect' button to connect.
Once you have connected, you can open and use any Internet program you wish.
