Windows 3.x does not come with an Internet dialer. One dialer you can use is Trumpet Winsock 3.0. Here are the steps for manually configuring this dialer.
In Trumpet Winsock, click 'File' -> 'Setup'.
For 'IP Address', enter 0.0.0.0. For 'DNS server(s)', enter 208.12.112.2. Select PPP.
Click 'OK'. To connect to the Internet, click 'Dialer' -> "Login'.
The first time dial in, you will be prompted for the access phone number, enter the Dial-Up access number found in the Call Finder for your area, including area code.
Click OK.
In the field labeled 'Login Usernname', enter: username@tcq.net
(Replace 'username' with your assigned username)
Clock OK
Enter your assigned password.
Click OK
Once you are connected, you can minimize the Trumpet window, and begin using your Internet programs.
