All Dial-Up and DSL accounts come with a free personal web site with 25MB of web space. Your web site is automatically configured when you sign up. You just need to upload the pages to this site.
Building Your Web Site
The first step in creating a web site is building the web pages you want people to see. Web pages are written in a language called HTML. Here are a few sites which will help you get started in creating web pages using HTML.
The good news is, you don't need to be an HTML programmer to build a web page. There are programs called Web Editors which makes building web pages much easier. Here are some Web Editors you can use:
Transferring Your Web Pages to the Internet
After your web pages are created, you will need to transfer them to your web space on our server. You will need an FTP program to do this. Here is a list of some of the most common FTP programs available. The setup information is found in the table below.
