To install the Actiontec router, run the setup program from the Actiontec CD. 

You will be asked to select either a USB or Ethernet connection to your computer. Make the appropriate selection, click OK. 

Choose PPPoA when asked which ISP protocol to use.

Click OK.

Click OK.

Select Dynamic IP Address. 

Click OK.

Windows Workstations

To configure a Windows computer, go into Control Panel -> Network -> TCP/IP for your network adapter and configure the following settings:

	IP Address Tab: Obtain automatically.
	Gateway Tab: No installed gateways.
	DNS Configuration Tab: Disable DNS.
	Restart the Computer.

Macintosh Workstations

To configure a Macintosh computer, configure the TCP/IP Control Panel as follows:

	Connect via: Ethernet
	Configure: Using DHCP Server. Leave the "DHCP Client" box blank (If this box is available).
